Privacy Policy
Your data stays on your device
Pipling is built to run entirely on your device. You do not need to create an account, sign in, or give us an email address to use the app, and we do not run servers that collect or store your personal information.
Information We Collect
Everything you enter in Pipling is saved locally on your device using the operating system's standard local storage (SharedPreferences on Android and its equivalent on iOS). This includes:
- Child's name — optional. You can skip this entirely or keep the placeholder name; a real name is never required.
- Age band — one of three ranges: 1–3, 4–8, or 9–13 years.
- Pickiness level — how selective your child currently is about food.
- Allergies and excluded foods — optional.
- Health goals — optional.
- Kitchen tools — which equipment you have available, such as a blender.
- Smoothie logs — for each smoothie you record: the date and time, your child's reaction, and an optional free-text note.
None of this information is transmitted to us or to anyone else. It stays on your device.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used only on your device, to:
- Show recipe recommendations matched to your child's age band, pickiness level, allergies and excluded foods, and available kitchen tools.
- Track and display your progress — including the Journey and Pickiness levels — based on the smoothies you log.
All of this processing happens locally on your device. Nothing is sent to an external server, and we have no way to access it.
Third-Party Services
RevenueCat. Pipling uses RevenueCat solely to manage subscriptions. When you start, restore, or manage a subscription, the information needed to complete that purchase is exchanged between the app, RevenueCat, and Apple's App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf for subscription management only. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
We do not use any analytics tools, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, or other third-party tracking or profiling technology.
Data Retention
Because your data lives only on your device, there is nothing for us to retain — we hold no copy and keep no server-side backup. If you delete Pipling from your device, all of the information listed above is permanently removed with it. Reinstalling the app starts from an empty state.

Terms of Use
By downloading or using Pipling, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Use of the App
Pipling is provided for your personal, non-commercial use — to help you prepare smoothies and track your child's progress with them. You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose and in line with applicable laws.
Subscriptions
Pipling offers an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are sold and billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play, and payment, renewal, and cancellation are handled by your Apple or Google account; subscription entitlements are processed through RevenueCat. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it through the App Store or Google Play, and deleting the app does not cancel it. Current prices are shown in the app before you purchase.
Disclaimer
Pipling's recipes, ingredient suggestions, nutrient information, and progress features are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not medical, nutritional, or health advice, and they are not a substitute for the guidance of a qualified physician, pediatrician, or registered dietitian.
Every child is different. You are responsible for knowing your child's allergies, intolerances, and dietary needs, for checking every ingredient before use, and for supervising food preparation and eating. The app's allergy and excluded-food settings are a convenience for filtering recipes and are not a guarantee that a recipe is safe for your child. If your child has a medical condition, a food allergy, or specific dietary requirements, consult a healthcare professional before changing their diet. If you think your child is having an allergic reaction or a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Pipling is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pipling and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the app, including any reliance on its recipes or nutritional information. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and significant changes may also be noted in the app or its store listing. Continuing to use Pipling after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
